We can provide a simple definition of a decentralized game as follows:
Any game that features distributed planning and authority, and is designed to resist single points of failure could be described as “decentralized”.
While this may not necessitate the use of a blockchain, we certainly think there are advantages to having one. Blockchain technology is the optimal solution for certain problems: those that require minimizing trust.
